Stair Lifts - How good are they?

One cannot really quantify the benefit the stair lifts are giving to the old people who have remained immobile for a long period of time.  It is more than a decade now that people are reaping the benefits of having this kind of a mobile facility within their house because this puts an end to a lot of boredom which immobility has caused. 

As the stair lifts can run along the stair case there is not much additional work involved in installing the stair lifts.  Irrespective of age, if people are confined due to some debilitating factors, the stair lifts make it possible to move from one floor to another within the house.  This indeed is a major advantage and a boost too to those people with restricted travel within the house between different levels.
